Student Application Process and Forms
FALL 2005 - SPRING 2006
Description of Funds:
The purpose of these funds is to support and attract men
and women of all nationality in Universities and Colleges, Two one-year
scholarships in the amount $3,000.00 ($1,500.00 per student) will
be awarded during the 2006 academic year. These scholarships may be
renewed for an additional year after the initial award.
The purpose of this notice is to solicit applications of qualified
students.
Qualifications for all scholarship recipients:
1. Must be Canadian citizens, permanent resident or aliens admitted
as refugees at the time of application.
2. Must be enrolled full-time in University/College degree programs
and must maintain full-time status throughout duration of the scholarship.
3. Scholarships are available to male and female.
Qualifications for all Undergraduate recipients:
1. Must have financial need that can be verified through the financial
aid office.
2. Must be entering their junior year in the fall of 2005.
3. Must have a grade point average of at least 85%.
4. If the applicant is a first year transfer student, the student
must have a grade point average of at least 85% at their last institution.
5. Must have an average grade of a "B" in their freshman.
Qualifications for all Graduate Recipients:
1. Must have financial need, defined by eligibility for Graduate Assistance.
2. Must have a grade point average of at least 85%.
3. Must have approximately two years until the completion of their
degree (Masters or Ph.D.).
Application MUST include the following:
1. Completed application form. (See
Application Form)
2. Three letters of recommendations from faculty members.
3. A resume.
4. Evidence of financial need.
5. If you are a first year undergraduate transfer student, an official
copy of your transcript from your previous institution.
