What a city...Moose Jaw.

Moose Jaw is 72 kilometers to the west and a bit south of Regina, which is the capital of Saskatchewan.

Its population is around 35 000. But, that's what they have been saying for the last 25 years. For a province of less than a million, there must be people smart enough to leave.

There isn't much to do there. One big mall, a hockey team named the Moose Jaw Warriors, two big bingo centers, a main street called Main Street that kids roam up and down for fun at night, an air-force base that is home of the Snow Birds, and a wild animal park (which may or may not have a moose in it).

Moose Jaw is located right off the Trans-Canada Highway. You won't be able to miss it. When you drive pass a 30 foot concrete moose on the south side of the road, you know you have reached it. There is no way you can drive pass the moose that is in the picture to your right. Pic of Moose
