What a city...Moose Jaw.
Moose Jaw is 72 kilometers
to the west and a bit south of Regina, which is the capital of Saskatchewan.
Its
population is around 35 000. But, that's what they have been saying for the
last 25 years. For a province of less than a million, there must be people
smart enough to leave.
There isn't much to do there. One big mall, a
hockey team named the Moose Jaw Warriors, two big bingo centers, a main street
called Main Street that kids roam up and down for fun at night, an air-force
base that is home of the Snow Birds, and a wild animal park (which may or may
not have a moose in it). |
