Of
course kit quality varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Although Honda is
my favourite, I'm interested in all motorcycles so I'm a little more critical of
the quality in the kits I buy. One thing I'm most critical of is the fit and
ease of assembly. I prefer to spend my time building and detailing the kits I
buy, rather than fixing design and manufacturing defects before I can build a
kit. Some modellers don't mind a poor quality this as much as I do, but I think
it is because their modelling interests are more finite which limits the models
available to them.
Tamiya Responds to the Poll Results
Tamiya wasted no time replying to the letter I sent to them. I was
pleasantly surprised to see a reply only five. Here is my letter

Although
I'm not a retailer, I may occasionally use eBay to auction off kits that I'm no
longer interested in.
