Instrument Glass
The instrument faces are provided as decals and never look quite right when just applied to the instrument panel. In the past I've tried painting them with X-22 to add a gloss surface, but it never looked quite right. When I was building the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird the instrument face were sunk into the panel. I decided to make 'glass' for the faces by punching disks from clear plastic. It looks great. Here is how I made the punches.
